Brief Description of Stolichnaya Vodka
Stolichnaya is a wheat and rye grain-based vodka. It's a popular Soviet brand. Stolichnaya's ownership has been challenged since the fall of the Soviet Union between FKP Soyuzplodoimport, a Russian state-owned firm, and SPI Group, a private company founded and owned by Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler.
Stolichnaya is pronounced stɐˈlʲit͡ɕnajə in Russian. The word is an adjectival version of the word столицa, which means "capital city." The words "Stolichnaya vodka" are written in gold cursive writing over a drawing of a Moscow landmark, the recently refurbished Hotel Moskva, on the Soyuzplodoimport bottle label.

Stolichnaya, or "Stoli" as it is more commonly known, is one of the most well-known vodka brands on the market today. It's a smooth, inexpensive, and dependable Russian vodka. This Russian vodka is made from wheat and rye that has been distilled four times. Before bottling at 40% alcohol by volume, it is filtered through quartz sand and birch activated charcoal and combined with artesian water (ABV; 80 proof).
