The definition Semi seco means that the wine is semi-dry. This Cava is from Spain more specifically the Penedes district. This wine has a nice fruity character in taste which is also appealing and round.
This extraordinarily unique Cava is a premium blend of the traditional Spanish varietals prepared in an extra-dry style. An added dimension enters with a hint of sweetness, which perfectly complements the toasted, apple pie – like character of the flavors.
Opens with aromas of mustard and rye seed. The palate is soft, clunky and a bit cloying, with sweet, gummy, muddled apple and candied mango flavors. Finishes confected, with a tropical leaning. Not the best style for Cava.
