However, the history stretches back more than 300 years and DGB’s origins lie in the Boschendal and Bellingham wineries in the wine country. Around 1940, Douglas Green began the wholesale wine model in Paarl. Today, DGB is one of the largest independent producers and distributors of wine and spirits in South Africa.
