Gancia Prosecco Dry is a sparkling wine made of grapes from the Glera grape, the production of which dates back 170 years of tradition. It is characterized by a slightly dry taste with a hint of citrus. This harmonious Prosecco has a straw color with golden highlights. The wine is made in the historic interiors of the House of Gancia, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
It tastes best in its signature service as Aperol Spritz, a traditional Italian drink and the perfect drink to start the evening with. To create the perfect Aperol Spritz, simply fill a large glass of wine with ice, combine Prosecco and Aperol in equal parts, and add a little soda. You can also decorate it with a slice of orange.
This sparkling is made from the best selection of Glera grapes coming from the Prosecco area. Production takes place between Friuli and Veneto, in the area of the Prosecco di Treviso. After harvesting, the grapes are soft pressed and then vinified in white (without the skins) at 18° C controlled temperature. Particular attention is given to the fermentation temperature in order to enhance the aromatic characteristics of Prosecco.
